Innovative Teaching/Training Practices – Proposals

The 1st seminar for Innovative practices was organized by video-conferencing tools, and it was held on June 30, 2020. Each partner institution used the share screen option to give the presentation. Also, there was the possibility to send the presentations to the project coordinator and they will share it while the representative from the partner institutions gives the presentation. It was planned to reserve 5-7 minutes for presentation per practice. The presentation template was sent by e-mail, and each partner had to limit their presentation up to number of slides given in the template file.

Benefits and Impact from Academia-Industry Alliances

On 19th May the conference “Benefits and Impact from Academia-Industry Alliances” took place in at University of Sarajevo.The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering UNSA, Prof. Samir Dolarević and representatives from the Ministry of High Education and research of Sarajevo County.
Prof. Dr. Angelina Taneva-Veshoska presented the All4R&D Platform and the benefits of collaborating through the platform.
The collaboration between Civil Engineering Institute Macedonia, Institute for Research in Environment, Civil Engineering and Energy and Civil Engineering Faculty was presented as a good practice and the findings of research projects conducted in the frame of the project were discussed.

Coordination Meeting of Management Board

The coordination meeting of Management Board was held by video-conferencing tools on October 8, 2020 at 12:00 CET. A presentation containing the statistics from the all4rnd moodle platform was given, with the summarization that the state of nearly all of the available courses are near the end. A discussion for the importance of promotion for the success of the courses was also made. The situation in Armenia, as well, came on the agenda, because it strongly influenced the project activities.

In the frame of the third open call 9 courses in 6 categories are offered, free of charge. The courses are tailored-made, based on the assessed needs of students and professionals, and trends in the industry. The courses are co-created and are offered in joint collaboration of academic and business organisations from 6 countries (Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Germany, Finland and Austria).

Attending fee: free of charge

Registration deadline: 10 October 2021

Mode: 100% online

Duration: 60 hours (equivalent to 2 ECTS)

Start: Courses will be held in the period 15 October – 30 December 2021. The exact dates and timeslots will be additionally agreed between the professors and the participants.

Number of participants per course: 20

Recognition/certification of participation: All participants will receive an international certificate for attendance/ completion of the course for 60h (equivalent to 2 ECTs)

Criteria for participation in the courses

  • English proficiency;
  • Attend the full duration of the course;
  • Complete the workload of 60 hours for each selected course (online classes and self-guided learning);
  • Create a profile and take an active part in our collaborative-innovative platform;
  • Desire to learn and exchange with peers in an international environment.

Working methods

To be successful, this will require participants to have an active engagement in sharing their own experience on the All4R&D platform with international peers, and be willing to learn new skills from professors from academia and industry. The working methods will include digital tools for online learning, innovative and interactive methods of learning live video sessions, consultation hours etc.

The aim of the project “Promoting academia-industry alliances for R&D through collaborative and open innovation platform” (All4R&D) is to accelerate research, innovation, knowledge and technology transfer in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Armenia through enhancing strategic academia-industry alliances. Monitoring visit of R&D Units

The Monitored visit of the R&D Units was organised online, on June 22, 2021, with the help of the online conferences platform Zoom. During the meeting, partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Armenia presented their staff, that is fully engaged in the project implementation and work, the organizational structure and the available equipment. A brief overview of the finished courses and innovative practices from the first call was also presented.

Workshop for Research projects in R&D Units-NUACA&YeTRI

The workshop meeting was held on June 21, 2021 and it took place online, using the online conferences platform Zoom. During the meeting the following two projects were introduced to the participants:

  • „Effectiveness of structural system of strengthened buildings in seismic regions taking into account soil dynamic parameters”
  • „Designing an Appropriate Alarm System for Monitoring the Condition of Reservoir Dams”

The presentation was followed up by a discussion and suggestions for some small improvement.

Launching the Cooperative R&D Units, Sarajevo

The meeting “Launching the Cooperative R&D Units” was held on March 26, 2021 and it took place online, using the online conferences platform Zoom. The meeting was organised by University of Sarajevo. On the meeting the ALL4R&D platform  was presented, and participants were introduced with its main features – how to create an account, have a direct communication with institutions and organizations and collaborate on research projects. Additionally, the 50 courses and 35 innovative practices were presented. The second open call for the courses was announced and participants were invited to apply.
