R&D Centre UNSA/WP of Civil Engineering, University of Sarajevo, has open calls for researchers and companies in two new international research projects:
- Reinforced Earth
- Ambient Vibration Testing
Duration of the research projects: 15 April 2021 – 15 April 2022
Target group:
- Individuals – BSc or MSc Students in civil engineering
- Companies from construction industry
What we offer
- Research equipment and infrastructure placed at the Institute of the Faculty and the partner company Winner-Project Sarajevo;
- Collaborative working space at the Faculty;
- Opportunity to work in international research team and improve research skills;
- Contacts with partner institutions from the industry sector, involved in project implementation.
Criteria for participation in the Research projects
- Level and type of education: Undergraduate or higher degree in Civil engineering;
- Software skills: SAP2000nl or any similar general purpose finite element program (would be an advantage) for Research project Ambient Vibration Testing; ОR
- Software skills: Plaxis 2D and Plaxis 3D (would be an advantage) for Research project Reinforced Earth;
- Research skills: Basic knowledge on experimental and numerical investigation principles
- English proficiency;
- Desire to learn and exchange with peers in international environment;
- Create a profile and take active part of our collaborative-innovative platform.

Selection process of individual candidates
- An in-person interview to evaluate skills and abilities of the students will be organised;
- Potential candidates may apply for master thesis as a part of the research project.
