Seismic Resilience Research and Development Unit
Seismic Resilience Research and Development Unit, has open calls for researchers and companies in two new international research projects:
- Effectiveness of structural system of strengthened buildings in seismic regions taking into account soil dynamic parameters
- Designing an Appropriate Alarm System for Monitoring the Condition of Reservoir Dams
Duration of the research projects: 15 April 2021 – 15 April 2022
Target group:
- Individuals – MSc or PhD Students
- Companies from construction industry
What we offer
- Geophysical equipment for recording the velocity of soil Vs shear waves
- Various non-destructive testing equipment for concrete
- Equipment for detection of rebar, measurement of protective cover and diameter size of the rebar
- Opportunity to work in an international research team and improve research skills;
- Contacts with partner institutions from the industry sector, involved in project implementation.
Criteria for participation in the Research projects
- MSc or PhD student in Structural engineering or Geotechnical engineering;
- Software skills: AutoCAD, Excel, Lira-SAPR;
- English proficiency;
- Desire to learn and exchange with peers in international environment;
- Create a profile and take an active part in our collaborative-innovative platform.
